Pan Seared Pork Chops with Apples and Onions
These pork chops are an easy fall recipe with only a few ingredients and simple instructions. Delicious with rice or roasted vegetables.

Ingredients
- 3-4 pork chops⠀
- 3 granny smith apples⠀
- 1/2 yellow onion⠀
- 3/4 cup chicken stock⠀
- Sprig of rosemary⠀
- Olive oil⠀
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper or favorite meat rub (we used Rufus Teague meat rub)⠀
- Add olive oil to pan (1T)⠀
- Sear pork chops on medium - high heat ~ 4-5min each side or until thermometer reads 160°⠀
- Remove pork chops from pan⠀
- Add olive oil to pan (1T)⠀
- Thinly slice apples (we used granny smith) and 1/2 yellow onion, chop rosemary⠀
- Cook apples, onion, and sprig of rosemary in pan with salt & pepper for 5-6min⠀
- Reduce heat to medium - low⠀
- Add 3/4 cup chicken stock and add pork chops back to pan with apples/onions⠀
- Let all simmer until chicken stock reduces by half
